How it’s Made

This one-of-a-kind handmade journal is the perfect blend of beauty and practicality.

·       It measures 7.25 inches tall x 5.5 inches wide x 0.5 inches thick.

·       Inside, you'll find a mix of acid-free 105 gsm white paper and 89 gsm goldenrod paper, which provides a smooth, high-quality surface for writing and sketching.

·       Comprising of five hand-stitched signatures, each ten pages long. For a unique touch, goldenrod divider sheets separate each signature, totaling 50+ pages.

Each case-bound journal is carefully hand-stitched using the French Link Stitch and durable 100% Mercerized Egyptian cotton thread, which I wax by hand with natural beeswax for added strength and longevity.

The cover uses a 70/80-point Davey Binders Board and is wrapped in a beautiful 100% quilter's cotton book cloth (upcycled fabric, adhesive, and acid-free tissue paper).

The inside end pages are made with acid-free scrapbook paper, adding a special touch of character to each book. I've incorporated 130 gsm acid-free paper between the end pages and book block for additional structure and durability. Every element – from the PH-neutral PVA adhesive to the stitching process – has been selected to ensure a professional-quality handmade product.
